Calling all nonprofits! It's time to be part of our Early Bird Sign-up and get your nonprofit's name entered in our Human Race raffle for $250.

Every nonprofit that completes their online application to be part of the 2015 Human Race by Monday, February 2, will have their name thrown into our safari helmet. Then on Tuesday, February 3, we will draw the name of one lucky nonprofit out of the helmet to receive a $250 check made out to their organization.

The first event of the Human Race experience -- the Breakfast of Champions breakfast -- is on Tuesday, February 3, 2015. TICKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE. Click here to purchase tickets.

This is the official kick-off for 2015 Human Race and gives participants the chance to pick-up all the materials they need to realize their fundraising goals.

This year we welcome Chad Crittenden as our Breakfast of Champions keynote speaker. Chad's an elementary school teacher from Livermore who has appeared on the hit show, Survivor, climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro and has been successful in raising significant funds and awareness for the Challenged Athletes Foundation.

ATTENTION NONPROFITS -- Starting in January, nonprofits will be able to enroll in the 2015 Human Race. Fundraising won't start until February, after the Breakfast of Champions, but nonprofits can make sure they have a presence by signing up early before the big rush to donate begins! And our early bird nonprofit sign-ups will qualify for a prize of $250 to be given out at the Breakfast of Champions!

From the Human Race team here at the Volunteer Center of Sonoma County, we are tremendously indebted to our sponsors for their support; the City of Santa Rosa for the use of the city streets, their equipment & our amazing police support; Howarth & Spring Lake Park Services for allowing our course to run through their beautiful parks; and Herbert Slater Middle School for the generous use of their school as our event site. We also want to thank our army of volunteers. An event of this size would not be possible if so many generous souls didn't step forward to join us in the wee hours of race morning. Most importantly, we want to extend a heartfelt "thank you" to all of the nonprofits, businesses and citizens of Sonoma County. We wouldn't be the biggest Human Race event in the country without you!
