The first event of the Human Race experience -- the Breakfast of Champions breakfast -- has come and gone and was AMAZING.

Our keynote speaker, Chad Crittenden, was dazzling and our attendees were wild & crazy about him. Thank you, Chad, for taking the time to tell us your incredible journey and for joining us this morning!

From the Human Race team here at the Volunteer Center of Sonoma County, we are tremendously indebted to our sponsors for their support; the City of Santa Rosa for the use of the city streets, their equipment & our amazing police support; Howarth & Spring Lake Park Services for allowing our course to run through their beautiful parks; and Herbert Slater Middle School for the generous use of their school as our event site. We also want to thank our army of volunteers. An event of this size would not be possible if so many generous souls didn't step forward to join us in the wee hours of race morning. Most importantly, we want to extend a heartfelt "thank you" to all of the nonprofits, businesses and citizens of Sonoma County. We wouldn't be the biggest Human Race event in the country without you!
