Basic Training for Participating Organizations
Come learn the basics and get your Human Race questions answered! Sessions are oriented to new nonprofit organizations or new Human Race coordinators, but those who’ve participated before are also welcome, as a refresher course is always helpful. Sessions last approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

| Incentive Fund |
This is the first matching program of its kind in the nation. To
encourage participation in the Human Race the Volunteer Center has
created an Incentive Fund which provides up to a 10% matching payment on
all pledges collected by every participating nonprofit! The source of
the incentive fund is donations from Sonoma County businesses. If the
Incentive Fund payout exceeds what is in the fund, every non-profit
agency will receive a proportional share of the monies that exist in the
fund.
